Formación de T.C en el Mar de Carpentaria a unas 72 horas vista, y posible migración dirección sureste... camino del actual ciclón Sandra.

Pues ya tenemos lanzada la alerta por formación ciclónica.

REMARKS:
T2.0 based on poorly defined wrap of 0.3 to 0.5 over the past 6 hours with
generally moderate convection. MET and PAT agree. The system lies in a region of
NW shear, though movement to the ESE should result light system-relative shear
over the next 2 to 3 days. Dry air on the southern side may also result in
slowed development if it entrains into the system centre.

Seguirá los pasos de Sandra, y se encontrará con el mismo aire seco que la aniquilo.

De nuevo una trayectoria anómala, con fuerte componente este en latitudes bajas, aunque no es raro verlas por la zona del BOM, acá en el atlántico hablaríamos de algo muy raro (como fue el LENNY del 2001).

A la espera de la actualización de Bureau, está al caer.

Bureau  asciende al rango de Ciclón categoría 2, nombra al sistema como TIM, y tanto los australianos como los americanos, lo mandan a las costas australianas.

La convección se viene  abajo, por lo que el aire seco proveniente de Australia... comienza hacerle efecto  .



 

 

Vaya forma de "joder" Australia con su dichoso aire seco, por cierto, vaya ondas gravitacionales que se ven en la imagen, pocas veces he visto algo igual.
