Este itinerario es una verdadero placer para conocer las entrañas de Irati. Parte desde las Casas de Irati y asciende al Lizardoia, una cumbre rodeada de bosque que ofrece una panorámica impresionante sobre la selva de Irati. Es una ruta sencilla, agradable, que invita a disfrutar y que se hace sin grandes complicaciones. Un verdadero tesoro en el que, además, no nos encontraremos mucha gente en los alrededores de la cumbre.
Ubicación: Macizo de Lizardoia, Navarra.
Cima: Lizardoia (1.166m).
Duración: 2h y 15min.
Acceso: Partimos desde las Casas de Irati, accesibles desde el Paso Tapla y Otsagabia.
11:02. Comenzamos la excursión desde el parking de pago (856m) haciendo una visita a la ermita de la Virgen de las Nieves.

LAS NOTAS (La escala es del 1 al 5):
DIFICULTAD: 2. Iitinerario corto y de escaso desnivel pero que requiere de atención en el bosque camino de la cabaña.
BELLEZA DEL ITINERARIO: 4,5. Preciosa excursión con un bosque de categoría y destacable panorámica hacia Irati y el Ori. Pena que el bosque cubra parte de las vistas.
