Cristina tiene un par de días para ganar fuerza adicional mientras los
factores ambientales sigan siendo generalmente favorables, y los modelos
están bastante de acuerdo en mostrar a Cristina con ó cerca de
fuerza de huracán en 36 a 48 horas. Más allá de unos pocos días, el sistema
se espera que pase a un ambiente más seco con cizalladura fuerte del SW
y temperaturas de superficie del mar menos cálidas. Estas condiciones
debe poner fin a la fase de consolidación y finalmente causar el debilitamiento
de CRISTINA.

strength, since the vertical shear is expected to remain quite low
while Cristina lies over warm 29 C waters. In 2 to 3 days, the
environment is expected to become less favorable as the cyclone

Todavía puede repuntar un poco más esta tarde antes de que las condiciones empeoren significativamente, veremos a ver. Pero sinceramente ayer no me esperaba que pasara de los 90 nudos este sistema...

Una de las cosas que vamos a ver este año en esta maravillosa cuenca, es que los organismos oficiales pequen de parcos y conservadores, pero es que Dvorak es mucho Dvorak. Va a ser lo más cerca que voy a estar de un bicho como este que este sabado estaré en Ciudad de México en el centro de México y por lo que veo el Miercoles me pueden tocar bastantes tormentas tropicales, eso en Cancún. ..

ADT le otorga 931 hPa de presión y vientos de 134kt frente a los 928hPa / 137kt de hace tan solo tres horas. No es un sistema muy grande y por tanto la degradación podrá ser relativamente rápida respecto de un sistema de mayor tamaño, pero dada la fuerza que posee, todavía tiene mucha inercia que gastar antes de perder la categoría de huracán.
