Iparralde es la niña de mis ojos. Es un paisaje que siempre me ha cautivado: rural, muy bucólico. Y a finales de invierno, cuando la primavera asoma tímidamente, tiendo a hacerle una visita. Cualquier excusa es buena y el Larla, ubicado en la explanada de Saint Martin de Arrossa y Orzaize/Osses, hacía tiempo que lo tenía fichado. Ayer aproveché una ventana de buen tiempo para realizar una realizar sencilla y modesta, pero sumamente cautivadora. Esos paisajes...
Ubicación: Sierra de Larla, Iparralde.
Cima: Larla (706m).
Desnivel acumulado: 603mm.
Distancia: 10,18km.
Duración: 3h y 30min.
Acceso: Partimos desde la localidad vascofrancesa de Saint Martin de Arrossa. Desde Donostia salimos dirección Francia por la autopista A-8. Cruzamos la frontera y tomamos la salida de Cambo. Se sigue hacia Bidarray y, tras pasar Orzaize/Osses, hay que tomar la carretera de la derecha dirección Baigorri. Una carretera nos lleva por la derecha a Saint Martin de Arrossa.

Pero lo que más me sorprende cuando alcanzo el collado es esta vista sobre el valle contiguo de Baigorri y la Bastide, y el macizo de Iparla. Imponente.

LAS NOTAS (La escala es del 1 al 5):
DIFICULTAD: 2,5. Es un itinerario modesto en cuanto al desnivel. Hay bastantes cruces, eso sí, esté atento.
BELLEZA DEL ITINERARIO: 3,5. A mí es un paisaje que me vuelve loco. Gran mirador y excursión relajante. ¿Para qué queremos más?
IMPORTANCIA DE LA CUMBRE: 2,5.
