El Marinda es una de esas cimas que llaman poderosamente la atención desde la lejanía. El montañero tiene un alma romántica y cuando ve esas formas cónicas y puntiagudas siempre desea la ascensión. En este caso trazamos una semicircular desde Sendadiano que nos permitió conocer sus dos vertientes. Una cae vertiginosamente sobre Kuartango; la otra es más mansa hacia un bosque mixto. Con todos ustedes, el Marinda. El diamante de Kuartango.
Ubicación: Sierra de Gibijo, Álava.
Cima: Marinda (974m).
Desnivel acumulado: 402m.
Distancia: 7,66 km.
Duración: 2h y 45min.
Acceso: Partimos desde la localidad alavesa de Sendadiano, a la que se accede desde la carretera que comunica Izarra con Zuazo de Kuartango. Podemos acceder por Altube o por Nanclares de la Oca.

LAS NOTAS (La escala es del 1 al 5):
DIFICULTAD: 2,5. Ruta clara y evidente hasta la base de la montaña. Después se empina pero hay senda bien marcada.
BELLEZA DEL ITINERARIO: 4. Cima muy atractiva, preciosa panorámica y bonito entorno.
