UPDATED Tropical Cyclone 3 day Outlook for Northern Region,
including the
Gulf
of CarpentariaIssued by the BUREAU OF METEOROLOGY, DARWIN

Existing Cyclones in the Northern Region and Gulf of Carpentaria:
Nil.
Potential Cyclones:
A monsoon trough near the north coast of the Top End is moving north into the
Arafura Sea. A low pressure system is expected to
develop in the trough within
the next 12 to 24 hours and may intensify further into a tropical cyclone on
Friday. Likelihood of a tropical cyclone being in the Northern region on:
Wednesday: Low.
Thursday: Moderate.
Friday: High.
NOTE: The likelihood is an estimate of the chance of each system being a
tropical cyclone in the Region for each day...
Very low: less than 5%, Low: 5% to 20%, Moderate: 20% to 50%, High: Over 50%.
The area of coverage for this outlook is the Ocean area south of 9S, between
125E and 142E,
including the Gulf of Carpentaria, but excluding the area around
Timor [northwest of 11S 125E, 11S 128E, 9S 128E].
Para el Viernes será alcanzará la categoría de ciclón según el departamente de Darwin .... Y parece ser que también intuyen un track parecido al del GFS , directo al Mar de Carpentaria. Aunque aún es pronto para saber lo que va hacer. Tire para donde Tire , el ambiente será bastante optimo para el desarrollo menos su cercanía a tierra.
