Showers and thunderstorms continue to show signs of organization in
association with a tropical wave located several hundred miles
west-southwest of the Cabo Verde Islands. Environmental conditions
appear conducive for additional development, and a tropical
depression or tropical storm is likely to form over the next day or
two. This system is expected to move westward at 15 to 20 mph
towards the Windward Islands.  Interests in the Lesser Antilles
should monitor the progress of this system.

Atlántico Tropical Central (AL95): Un sistema de baja presión
localizado alrededor de 1400 millas al este-sureste de las Islas de
Barlovento se está volviendo mejor definido y los aguaceros
associados y tormentas eléctricas están aumentando en organización.
Si estas tendencias continúan, una depresión tropical probablemente
se formará más tarde hoy. Se espera que este sistema se mueva hacia
el oeste a 15 a 20 mph y se acerque a las Islas de Barlovento para
el final del fin de semana, y podrían requerirse Vigilancias de
Huracán o Tormenta Tropical para porciones de esa región esta noche

Como se esperaba, comienzan a emitir los partes de la recién formada Depresión Tropical 2 en medio del Atlántico Tropical y muy probablemente BERYL en 12-24 Horas.

Primer Major de la temporada

BERYL efectivamente se ha convertido en el primer major de la temporada en un evento muy raro, habría que buscar a ver cuántos Majors han ocurrido en Junio en la MDR en los 170 años de registros oficiales, pero me parece que si hay alguno más es muy díficil.

Por su parte BERYL ya anda por los 195Km/h y 964 Hp, igual es un ciclón muy compacto de momento ( que puede ganar o perder rápidamente intensidad)

DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK ---------------------- At 1100 AM AST (1500 UTC), the eye of Hurricane Beryl was located near latitude 10.7 North, longitude 54.9 West. Beryl is moving toward the west near 21 mph (33 km/h). A continued quick westward to west-northwestward motion is expected during the next few days. On the forecast track, the center of Beryl is expected to move across the Windward Islands Monday morning and across the southeastern and central Caribbean Sea late Monday through Wednesday. Maximum sustained winds have increased to near 120 mph (195 km/h) with higher gusts. Beryl is a category 3 hurricane on the Saffir-Simpson Hurricane Wind Scale. Some additional strengthening is forecast through tonight, and Beryl is expected to become an extremely dangerous category 4 hurricane before it reaches the Windward Islands. Hurricane-force winds extend outward up to 30 miles (45 km) from the center and tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 115 miles (185 km). The minimum central pressure based on data from the NOAA and Air Force Hurricane Hunters is 964 mb (28.47 inches).
