Cizalladura en aumento progresivo , convección desplazada al W del sistema y centro totalmente expuesto.

SIGNIFICANT TROPICAL CYCLONE WITHIN THE NEXT 24 HOURS IS DOWNGRADED

Aunque en las últimas horas la convección parece ir a menos.

 

 



Cizalladura favorable (5-10 KT) pero limitado por una SST bastante fresca y el factor más importante ... Aire seco al E de Reunión.

 

Creo que lo "mataron" antes de tiempo. A estas horas presenta un importante pegotón convectivo y parece que va a más. Han puesto de nuevo el ATCF y las imágenes del multisensor y color hablan por sí solas.

EDITO: Como no podía ser de otra manera, la Navy rectifica y en estos momentos alcanza fuerza de Tormenta Tropical como 02S-TWO.35kts-996mb

BENILDE está al caer. De momento Reunión lo mantiene como Depresión Tropical , mientras la marina le da fuerza de Tormenta Tropical.

Aumentará un poco de fuerza dirección Reunión , pero acabará aniquilado por el aumento de la cizalladura.

TC 02S IS EXPECTED TO INTENSIFY SLIGHTLY BUT SHOULD WEAKEN AND DISSIPATE BY TAU 72 DUE TO INCREASING VERTICAL WIND SHEAR ASSOCIATED WITH STRONG WESTERLY FLOW.



Y lo daban por muerto .... 

Al final me parece que ni será nombrada por Meteo France y se quedará como Depresión Tropical para ellos.

 



 

Está bastante tocada.


JTWC no emitirá mas partes sobre el sistema, y Reunión prevee que se disipie en las próximas horas.

Según la marina, posee 30kts.

  Pues nada, que a los sistemitas de esta zona, les cuesta sobremanera de irse "al otro barrio". Renace de sus cenizas y un importante pegotón convectivo cubre de nuevo el centro, que ayer estaba completamente expuesto.

Último parte que va a emitir Meteo France para el 02S.

At 12:00 PM UTC, Tropical Disturbance 02 (1002 hPa) located at 16.4S 65.1E has 10 minute sustained winds of 20 with gusts of 35 knots. The disturbance is reported as moving west at 5 knots.

Low level vortex is totally exposed due to strong northwesterly vertical wind shear. It is expected that the system will keep its westward track and will fill up for the next days. In fact, despite a temporary slight decrease tomorrow, strong northwesterly wind shear should persist and sea surface temperature will remain in range of 26-27C for the next 3 days. Some heavy rains should occur over Rodriques Island with fluctuating convection that is rejected in the southeastern part of the system.
