1. An area of low pressure located about 800 miles south-southwest of
the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula is showing signs
of organization.  This low could become a tropical depression
during the next day or two before upper-level winds become
unfavorable. This system is expected to move slowly northward during
the next couple of days and then turn eastward after that.

* Formation chance through 5 days...high...60 percent.



Lo tiene verdaderamente complicado porque las condiciones se vana tornar desfavorables mañana, y hay una onda tropical justo al Oeste de su posición, que de hecho también es un Invest. Veremos a ver qué sucede finalmente.

Desarrollo significativo del sistema en las últimas horas, con fuertes banda de convección profunda alrededor de su centro y buena organización. Según el NHC, sube hasta el 90% pero salta a la vista de que "esto" ya es como mínimo Depresión Tropical. Lanzada la alerta por formación tropical, por parte de la Marina.

First-light visible satellite imagery and microwave data suggest
that the small area of low pressure located well southwest of the
Baja California peninsula has become better organized.  Satellite
classifications from TAFB and SAB are a consensus T2.0/30 kt, and
thus the system is being upgraded to Tropical Depression Sixteen-E
at this time.
