THUNDERSTORMS. ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS ARE CONDUCIVE FOR SOME
DEVELOPMENT OF THIS SYSTEM OVER THE NEXT FEW DAYS AS IT MOVES
WESTWARD AT ABOUT 15 MPH. THIS SYSTEM HAS A LOW CHANCE...20
PERCENT...OF BECOMING A TROPICAL CYCLONE DURING THE NEXT 48 HOURS.

I'm also keeping close tabs on a tropical wave, now designated Invest 95L by the National Hurricane Center, that is located in the eastern Atlantic about 500 miles to the southwest of the Cape Verde Islands. Some development of this disturbance is possible this week, however, the global model guidance indicates that development will wait until it is in the Caribbean in 6 to 8 days or so. It looks like that this disturbance will have plenty of moist air to work with and environmental conditions are favorable for development.

This is a system that definitely will need to be watched closely as a ridge of high pressure will strengthen as Katia pulls to the north and northeast later this week. This would mean that 95L would likely remain on a general westward track right into the Caribbean by the weekend. All of our Crown Weather friends in the Lesser Antilles should keep a close eye on 95L as it may be affecting you in about 6 to 8 days from now.

Muy temprano todavía para asegurar nada pero los signos que van apareciendo apuntan a eso.

Por cierto cuando al llegar al trabajo vi la 95L y el NHC no la tenía en seguimiento pensé estaban  .

Parece que lleva el mismo patrón que KATIA. Y llevas razón, el comienzo podrá ser bueno, pero luego aflojará algo por la cizalla y el aire seco, para luego explotar frente a Sotavento. Si las Altas Presiones siguen estacionarias y reforzándose, obligará a mantener la trayectoria hacia el W.

SHIPS tiene claro que llega a ser MARIA, y como Tormenta Tropical moderada...

No obstante, con un patrón de cizalladura en ascenso dentro de un par de dias. Cuenta segun el modelo marinense, con bastante humedad por delante (gracias a KATIA)

Parece que los modelos consensuan en tener a MARIA ahora, luego la cizalladura le hará perder mucho terreno, y el abrigo del Caribe (bien por Barlovento, o bien por la parte Atlántica), le haría recuperarlo

Lo va a tener realmente crudo el NHC en cuanto al Track a seguir del 95L. Para la siguiente actualización , no me extrañaría que lo denominaran como D.T.

Según la ultima actualización del GFS , podría seguir el mismo Track que realizo Irene. Pero sin impacto con la costa este americana. "W-NW-N". Ya se verá que pasa también con los restos de Lee y su posible influencia en la futura María.
