Juer, despues de tropecientasmil vueltas he conseguido dar con el documento... creo que las graficas del link de diablo salen de este trabajo, y por eso solo llegan a 2000, porque el trabajo es de 2003 o 2004, como dije... edito: creo que es de 1999...

Spectral density analysis of the LOD time series for 1850-1998 revealed clear, regular fluctuations with an approximate 60-year period length (see below). The multidecadal maxima of LOD took place in the early 1870s and mid-1930s, and the next maximum is likely to fall early in 2000. Based on this multidecadal periodicity of LOD, and the fact that LOD runs ahead of dT by 6 years, a gradually descending dT may be expected around 2005.

CitarVariations in the distribution and flow of the Earth's fluid constituents are thought to be responsible for the observed variations in the Earth's polar motion and rate of rotation (UT1). This reflects the physical principle of conservation of angular momentum for the whole-Earth system, including both the solid and fluid parts.

The plots below compare the geodetically observed EOP variations with the expected effects due to the atmosphere. While the atmosphere is only one of the geophysical fluids responsible for EOP variations, it is the most important and most accurately observed. The atmosphere data used here are produced by the National Centers for Environmental Prediction (NCEP) as a byproduct of their meteorological assimilation models. Two time series of geodetic observations are shown for comparison -- the Bulletin A combination and the IGS Final series based on GPS data only.

Marzo 2011 para RSS MSU:  -0.026ºC vs. 1979-1998
GISS daría +0.27ºC para el mismo período. Bastante diferencia.

Con el fin del Niño, era lo esperable.

Dejo un gráfico con la tendencia de fondo modulada por ENSO y SATO (actividad volcánica)

Para Abril UAH debería de estar entre 0 y +0.1 ya no bajara más, seguro este es el pico de anomalia negativa..de todas formas habra que ver..

Curiosa la desaparicion de estaciones en el norte de Canada en 2005-2009 respecto a los años 90... y digo curioso porque precisamente es la zona del planeta que presenta, desde hace años, las anomalias positivas mas altas...

HadCrut3 para marzo: +0,318, respecto a la media 1961-1990

Una pregunta: ¿Cómo es que las temperaturas por satélite siguen bajando en marzo mientras en GISS Y HadCrut suben claramente?
Puede tener algo que ver con falta de cobertura en los polos, datos mal manejados, o es símplemente que la tª de la baja troposfera sigue en unos meses a la de la superficie?
