Tormenta Tropical OMAR (Atlántico oeste)

 An area of low pressure is located about 135 miles southeast of
Wilmington, North Carolina. This system continues to become better
organized, and a tropical depression is expected to form later today
or tonight while the system moves northeastward, near but
offshore of the southeastern coast of the United States and then
away from land.  An Air Force Reserve Hurricane Hunter aircraft is
en route to investigate the system.
* Formation chance through 48 hours...high...90 percent.
* Formation chance through 5 days...high...90 percent.

A ver que encuentra, porque parecen más las ganas, que la realidad. No parece tener circulación cerrada ni convección suficiente

Dirección noreste a Atlántico abierto. Sólo el paso por la Corriente le beneficia, porque la cizalladura no bajará de moderada

Pues mas o menos por esa hora y a raíz que habrías topic  le echaba un vistazo al satélite y no creía posible que le nombrasen en ese estado, pero bueno ya no nos debería sorprender.

Pues finalmente le han nombrado, aunque el propio NHC reconoce que esto será efímero...

En la discusión lo tienen claro, la poca convección que se forma cerca del centro es rápidamente arrastrada al sureste por la fuerte cizalladura del noroeste, para mañana no quedará ni eso y será baja remanente.

Tira y afloja, como Depresión

Y aunque el NHC cuenta que está a punto de desaparecer, OMAR se resiste, sigue generando como ahora convección intermitente cerca del centro.
