During the next day or so, the hurricane should remain in an
environment that is quite conducive for strengthening.  Vertical
shear is forecast to remain very low and SSTs are near 28 deg C. 
The SHIPS Rapid Intensification (RI) Index continues to show above
normal probabilities of RI.  Accordingly, the official forecast
calls for a 30-kt increase in intensity during the ensuing 24
hours

De momento, el pertadazo de LEE, no lo ha dado

Pues no lo ha hecho ni parece que de momento lo haga, y es que de hecho la convección no todo lo intensa que debería ser para tener una RI, estas se dan gracias que el sistema logra cerra una pared de ojo lo suficientemente simétrica y estable en la que se suceden explosiones convectivas con "overshooting tops", las "hot towers" lo cual es indicativo de que se esta desarrollando convección muy intensa en la pared el ojo, así como los topes muy fríos, esta intensidad en la convección en poco tiempo se traduce en intensidad del sistema.
