El Servicio Meteorológico Australiano pone en seguimiento otra Baja Tropical, justo en en la misma zona en la que presumiblemente la 17S se convertiría en Ciclón Tropical (costa del estado el NW de Australia). Sin embargo, algunos diagramas de fase muestran que la 17S resurgirá de sus cenizas, y ganará la partida (NOGAPS). El Europeo y UKMO van con la previsión de Bureau. Estamos por tanto, ante la lucha de dos sistemas de bajas presiones, dos circulaciones diferentes. Veremos quien gana la partida

TROPICAL CYCLONE WARNING CENTRE PERTH
A Cyclone WATCH continues for a developing tropical low for coastal areas from
Mardie to Kalumburu.
At 3:00 pm WDT a tropical low was relocated to be
165 kilometres north of Broome and
560 kilometres northeast of Port Hedland and
was near stationary.
The low may develop into a tropical cyclone on Tuesday. Gales are not expected
in coastal areas on Sunday or Monday, however, it is possible that gales could
develop in coastal areas between Mardie and Kalumburu on Tuesday.
