The low pressure over the lower south west coast and Malaysia will move to the middle South during 23-25 October. This cause more rain over the area with isolated heavy to very heavy rain. People from Surat Thani southward should beware of severe condition in this period. The wind-waves become strong with 2-3 meters high. All ships should proceed with caution, and small boats in the lower Gulf keep ashore.



Según el GFS y como viene insistiendo en sus ultimas actualizaciones, el disturbio se integraría en pleno Golfo de Bengala con un desarrollo más que virulento, y que finalmente podría acabar en las costas orientales de la Índia, aunque aún es pronto para saber que pasara al final.

Wind-wave in the lower Gulf with about 2 meters high. All ships in the areas should proceed with caution during 1-2 days.

The moderate high pressure area covers upper Thailand and the South China Sea. Cool with morning fog is likely in the North, the Northeast and the Central.

The advisory will be effect on 23 October 2012.

LA ZONA DE CONVECCIÓN PREVIAMENTE LOCALIZADA CERCA DE 11.7N 94.0E, AHORA SE ENCUENTRA CERCA DE 10.9N 92.5E, APROXIMADAMENTE A 580 NM AL OESTE-SUROESTE DE BANGKOK, TAILANDIA. IMÁGENES DE SATÉLITE INFRARROJOS ANIMADOS REVELAN CONVECCIÓN PERSISTENTE ENVOLVIENDOSE ALREDEDOR DE UN CENTRO DE BAJO NIVEL DE CIRCULACIÓN  (LLCC). UN PASE DE ASCAT 0544Z REVELA UN BIEN DEFINIDO PERO DÉBIL LLCC (10-15 KT). EN EL NIVEL SUPERIOR, IMÁGENES ANIMADA DE VAPOR DE AGUA Y ANÁLISIS REVELAN QUE LA ZONA SÓLO TIENE DIVERGENCIA AL SUR DEL EJE DE LA DORSAL SUBTROPICAL CON LEVE SALIDA HACIA EL POLO. LA CIZALLADURA VERTICAL EN EL ÁREA SIGUE SIENDO BAJA (05-10 NUDOS). LAS TEMPERATURAS EN EL ÁREA DE LA SUPERFICIE DEL MAR SON FAVORABLES (28-30 GRADOS CENTÍGRADOS) PARA EL DESARROLLO. Lanzada la alerta de formación tropical por la Marina, pero para mí que ya es Depresión Tropical. Que el gobierno de Colombo se vaya poniendo las pilas y rápido.

Latest satellite imagery and current Buoy observations indicate that a depression has formed over southeast and adjoining southwest Bay of Bengal and lay centred at 1130 hrs IST of today, the 28thth October 2012 near latitude 9.50N and longitude 86.00E, about 730 km southeast of Chennai (Tamilnadu) and 550 km east-northeast of Trincomalee (Srilanka). The system would intensify into a deep depression and move initially westwards towards Tamil Nadu coast

El JTWC le da fuerza de Tormenta Tropical entre las próximas 6 a 24 horas, aunque algunas agencias ya le dan 35 Kts. Por lo pronto, se consolida la convección alrededor del centro, con buenos topes.

LOW/MEDIUM CLOUDS WITH EMBEDDED INTENSE TO VERY INTENSE CONVECTION SEEN OVER BAY OF BENGAL BETWEEN LAT 04.00 N AND 13.5 0 N AND WEST OF 88 0 E AND SRI LANKA. THE ASSOCIATED CONVECTION HAS REMAINED SAME WITH RESPECT TO HEIGHT AND ORGANISATION DURING PAST 06 HRS. THE LOWEST CLOUD TOP TEMPERATURE (CTT) IS ABOUT -85 0 C.
SUSTAINED MAXIMUM SURFACE WIND SPEED IS ESTIMATED TO BE ABOUT 30 KNOTS GUSTING TO 40 KNOTS AROUND SYSTEM CENTRE. THE STATE OF THE SEA IS VERY ROUGH TO HIGH AROUND THE SYSTEM CENTRE. THE ESTIMATED CENTRAL PRESSURE IS ABOUT 1000 HPA.

Su proximidad a tierra le va a dificultar mucho su posible evolución a Tormenta Ciclónica, tal y como prevé el Instituto Meteorológico de la India.

La marina otorga 35kt. Presupongo que en horas lo determinarán como 03B

Veremos, porque pinta a un NILAM decente entrando por el SE de la India
