Policy Disaster: Energy “Insulation Madness” Turns German Residential Buildings Into “Death Traps”!

The Grenfell Tower fire catastrophe in London, with some 80 lives lost, has finally caused the public to become awar e of a problem that has been ignored and swept under the carpet for too long: The insulation madness has led in principle and in large part to death in new buildings and renovated buildings.”
In a mad rush to rescue the planet from a dubiously theoretical year 2100 climate Armageddon, Germany over the years has been vigorously supporting the installation of exterior plastic foam insulation on many buildings over the past years. Unfortunately it is turning out that these materials laid on the exterior of buildings is a fire and health hazard.

pregunto, ¿como se ha diseñado ese escenario?, porque resulta que venimos, desde que se conoce, con ascensos y descensos, y de repente nos encontramos con un ascenso a infinito

A partir de ese informe climatico algunos seres humanos empiezan a experimentar vergüenza ajena y otros debieran la propia.

The invention of global warming

A new study found adjustments made to global surface temperature readings by scientists in recent years “are totally inconsistent with published and credible U.S. and other temperature data.”
“Thus, it is impossible to conclude from the three published GAST data sets that recent years have been the warmest ever – despite current claims of record setting warming,” according to a study published June 27 by two scientists and a veteran statistician.
The peer-reviewed study tried to validate current surface temperature datasets managed by NASA, NOAA and the UK’s Met Office, all of which make adjustments to raw thermometer readings. Skeptics of man-made global warming have criticized the adjustments.
Climate scientists often apply adjustments to surface temperature thermometers to account for “biases” in the data. The new study doesn’t question the adjustments themselves but notes nearly all of them increase the warming trend.
Basically, “cyclical pattern in the earlier reported data has very nearly been ‘adjusted’ out” of temperature readings taken from weather stations, buoys, ships and other sources.

Lo de ese vídeo roza lo patético.  Que pongan las previsiones que se hacían hace 20 años y comparen datos.
Lo del cambio climático es simplemente política. Y en política se miente más que habla.

European Climate Institute EIKE Says Antarctica Ice Calving “Totally Normal”, Natural Causes

The Vice President of the Germany-based European Institute for Climate and Energy (EIKE) Michael Limburg wrote that the recent ice chunk breaking off the Antarctic ice shelf has everything to do with natural cyclic calving, and that the media reporting has been mostly alarmist hype. EIKE writes:

Antarctic ice shelf breaking is a totally normal process – the Antarctic has in fact gotten colder over the pst 30 years.

Why we emphasize that the climate has always changed

We say that the climate has always changed in order to point out that those who say "climate is changing" or "climate change is real" don't have the slightest clue about this scientific discipline. The sentences such as "climate is changing" are formally true but they also implicitly say that

“It is important information and a modern scientific discovery that climate is changing.
Or: A brand new process has started in the world we inhabit”.

But these sentences are absolutely untrue because the climate has always changed. Everyone who says "climate is changing" and indicates that it is some important information that should affect our behavior if not policies influencing the whole national economies is a scientifically illiterate, probably brainwashed, layman or an intentionally deceptive demagogue or a liar.

This paper mostly does a spectral anaysis, but it is still very interesting. The proposed mechanism depends on cosmic dust, and with a step change 1 million years ago, so a bit of special pleading, but it does cite other papaers that claim to find that dust variation.

Pen Hadow’s Arctic Mission Gives Up—Blocked By Sea Ice!

Pen Hadow’s attempt to sail to the North Pole has been rather embarrassingly brought to an abrupt halt by sea ice!
The furthest North they got was 80 degrees 10 minutes, and after being moored to an ice floe for a day, the decision was made to turn tail and head south.

Despite repeated claims of ice free seas, the writing has been on the wall for the expedition for several days, during which they have been meandering around the same area of ocean, presumably trying to find a way through the ice.

En medio del analfabetismo periodístico habitual mezclado con desinformación en proporciones indiscernibles, los medios, ávidos de titulares, se lanzan a proclamar a Irma como huracán mas fuerte de la h(H)istoria. En realidad, tras la habitual mezcolanza de informaciones poco informadas, lo que si tenemos es un potentísimo huracán cuya enorme energía la ha desarrollado en su viaje por el Atlántico. Es algo bastante distinto y tiene una explicación.

 

La verdad es que el asunto ha alcanzado niveles de histeria.
