Seismicity of the volcano was above background levels all week. According to visual data, Strombolian and moderate gas-steam with ash activity of the volcano were observing on August 06 and 08-12. Clouds obscured the volcano in the other days of week. Lava flow continues to effusing at the south-western flank of the volcano. According to satellite data, a big bright thermal anomaly was registering over the volcano all week.

According to visual data, clouds obscured the volcano all week. According to satellite data, a thermal anomaly was registering over the lava dome all week. An ash plume extended about 55 km (34 mi) to the north-west from the volcano on August 10.
